Guys, I want to know if there is anything on the 21st Railway Engineers during WWI. My grandfather was a cook in the 21st Rail. At least I think it was the 21. I have lost all of the info I had on him in a fire. Lost all my Dads info too. That stuff I did record elsewhere. My grandfather was Edmund Sendgikoski (also spelled Sendgikowski). Sad as it is all I have is the information I have given.

Okay, as far as size is concerned I have that shown in the following photos. Now, I have been told that this was a "secret" message holder. Why would patented be on the face of the hatch? Who knows. LOL

Don, Interesting website. I've been to the actual archives hundreds of times. I do genealogy and used to live in DC and worked 2 blocks from the archives. I'll have to make some phone calls to friends in DC and ask them to do some footwork for me. (They're used to that! LOL) Anna-Catherine

Don, Again thank you. Any idea if it's possible to even find this document or "list" in the Berlin Archives? Is it possible at all to search these archives. I can imagine they might be closed to the public. I have no clue. I think I want to know who it was given to just to add to the provenance. Anna-Catherine
