dynevor Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 Help please, I recently inherited some badges from a great uncle who had served in the Police in the Sudan and included is a badge brooch inscribed GSS 1899--------It is approx 3 inches in diameter and is round with GSS intertwined in the centre around palm leaves on one side and different leaves on the other side with 1899 below.
