Cuban hat to be identified

I'm new here, but I have been reading your forum since a while.

I have found this Cuban hat, I would like your opinion to identify it

In the star is written INTUR is the ministry/agency of turism?

Ciao amico! That's a very interesting peaked cap I've never seen before! Very, very nice! Well, as you guessed correctly it belongs to Instuto Nacional de Turismo (INTUR, engl. National Institute for Tourism). This peaked cap must be from the 1970s.

I think also that it is from the 70ies considering the style. Who knows if the INTUR still uses an uniform or not!

I've never thought that INTUR used such uniforms. I only know the old INTUR-money for tourists in the 70s/80s.  Can you make a foto of the interior or the hat?

this is the interior, there was the name of the owner, but it was made unreadable.

I'm very curious to understand the role of the wearer of this uniform. Unfortunately Cuban military is quite a mistery!

I can try to ask for it in Cuba next march. But it is a real mistery.
