    Does anyone know about these mugs

    Hi, I have in my possession a half pint pewter mug given to my grandfather. It is engraved with the words: Branscombe contingent H. Hansford 1914-1919. It appears that these mugs were given to the men of Branscombe village, devon when they returned from the war. They were also given to the families of those that didn't return. If anyone knows anything about these mugs or has seen one please contact me.
