Crown & Swords: Prussian Gold 01

A crown OVER crosssed sswords on the "Iron Cross" ribbon used by Prussia for its war Orders as well, indicates a Hohenzollern House Order 3rd Class with Swords-- the German Cross in Gold equivalent of 1914-18.

There are endless variations of this device. This particular one is in two separate pieces with a pierced crown. Note the extra security od being SEWN on as well as attached by the split prongs underneath.
