    Swords: Bronze WW2 KVK Late

    This is the one piece hollow stamped final universal pattern. At first glance, it might LOOK as if the triangular section under the blades above each cross guard is cut out... but that is only shadow. Compare this to the identical shape early war cut out, prong backed swords in the previous scan.

    I suspect by the millions and millions of these lacquered "low bidder" devices, that all of them came from a single source. I've included several in silver and gold finishes, but they are virtually awlways encountered in lacquered bronze finish, for the vast numberss of KVKs and Hindenburg Crosses that were the two most common German awards.
