Bavarian Military Merit Order 3rd Class or Military Merit CRoss 1st Class-- only "clues" from other awards present can determine whether this is the former (for Lieutenant Colonels, usually) or Warrant Officers.

Notice that this variant has a separate crown of a type which is normally solid, and uses the exclusively Bavarian "bound" swords.
