Wreathed Horse & Swords: FAKE Brunswick

Fraudulent copy of a Brunswick Long-Frontline Service device.

This CAST FAKE device is of a "recycled thermometer metal" type first observed spreading out of Sweden in 2002. Detail is quite good, since it must have been made from a rubber mold of an original. But notice the rough edges on this FAKE.

No original German ribbon device was ever cast.

After initial production runs where every single fraudulent device on fake ribbon bars were all this silvery color, later versions appeared painted in mockery of correct devices.

No original German ribbon bar device was ever painted EXCEPT for black-colored Oldenburg "vor dem Feinde" bars.
