Medal: RAD 4 Years

Excvept for the brief period in 1940 when the useful shovel and wheat sheaf devices were briefly allowed, there was no regulation device to indicate an Reichs Labour Service 4 or 12 years medal.

Their plain cornflower blue ribbons would thus be indistinguishable from six Imperial era Prussian/Reichs awards, as well as the Third Reich Polizei 8 Years Service Medal.

This is therefore a useful and apt non-regulation period device.
