Bar: Turkish Front/Campaign: Suez Raids

Incorrectly, but fairly commonly, what is to be noted here is the Suez Canal ("Qanaal") battles bar above that. This should be worn on the ribbon of the Turkish War Medal star and, in fact, there is indeed one just to the right of this ribbon!

This is on a ribbon bar worn by Generalmajor zV Johannes Kiehl (1884-1944). He alkso wore the improper "empty medal bar ribbon" for the TWM and bars on BOTH those ribbons on his full dress medal bar!
