Swords: Gold Incorrectly Used on Hindenburg Cross 01

These nice large pre-WW2 swords are a typical example of the fashion for wearing gold rather than correct bronze colored swords on the WW1 Hindenburg Cross ribbon. Presumably wearers felt that the dark colored swords were "lost" against so much black in the ribbon.
