    Sabers: Turkish WW1 Orders



    This style of curved blade and open crossguard was adopted in 1915 to add to World War awards of the Turkish Osmaanie and Medjidie Orders. This one is on the ribbon of the Medjidie Order.

    These are quite rare, since these Orders were far less widely awarded than the variety of lower ranking medals which used the Bar Over "Pirate Cutlass" devices.
