Eagles: Wehrmacht 12 & 4 TALL Variant 01

This extra large, tall, and bold, superbly detailed eagles will be clearly identifiable to a specific manufacturer if only we can find the correct period sales catalog!

So far, these have turned up only on a handful of bars circa 1940-41 which may or may not coincidentally have Spanish Civil War awards on them.

And today (28 May 2008) these strikingly ODD eagles have been identified from a period sales catalog as the product of Beco. See next scan.

These eagles hereby dubbed the "Peter J Type."
