    This TINY Spange is on the bar of a Knight's Cross winner. It is particularly noteworthy compared to what is next to it-- see scan "EK Spange With Crown & Swords."

    The finish has eveporated and been worn off, showing the brass base metal beneath. This ribbon bar-- and its owner-- had a tough, long war!!!!
