Ultra Small Sizes
This commercial postcard of the ill-fated Werner von Blomberg has been the only image I've been able to find of the 10mm size ribbon bars in wear. Several examples can be seen in the main text section of the Article.
This expedient was used when there were simply too many ribbons to FIT between the wearer's armpit and front tunic buttons. The obvious recourse-- to wear more than one row-- was not generally popular in the Third Reich. But that option was far more common than these Lilliputian micro-minis!
