Crown & Swords: Prussian Gold 17
Again, for the Prussian Hohenzollern House Order 3rd Class with Swords on combatant War Ribbon.
For non-Imperial collectors, this may be starting to get boring, with so many variations of the "same" device. But this was the highest Prussian award for officers to be worn on ribbon bars and is often the key to making an identification of an anonymous bar. It was the equivalent of the German Cross in Gold in WW1.
This quite whimsical device has strangely designed swords and another "heart shaped" crown. Struck in one piece, this one has solid crown arches but has cut out under the crown over the swords. Strange!
