Swords & Braid Bar Rumanian

This is a German "Kleindekoration" for a Commander grade neck award of one of the Rumanian WW2 Orders worn on this generic "war ribbon"-- at least according to what German military effects dealers had in stock.

Rumanian ribbons changed in a bewildering (well, at least to me ) fashion in the 1930s and 1940s. VERY often outdated and no longer regulation ribbons remained in use by German tailors.
