Gents,
A nice example of a jump log recording jumps from balloons, Li-2 and AN-2 aircraft.

Gents,
An exceptionally crisp image of Maj Gen V. G. Vasilyev's 200+ jump wings. Image dates to November 3, 1954. They don't get much sharper than this.

Sorry, I just fainted.
It would be... entertaining... to hear what the seller thought was being sold and what the buyer thought was being bought... but that would be cruel. I'm around cats too much.
Rick,
This one came out of Canada and was listed by someone who principally sells British/Canadian medals. He did not hype it, but rather let the images and his simple listing title, "1914-18 WWI GERMAN WAR MEDAL GROUP OF 9" do the talking. Am I correct in interpreting your comments to mean this is a contrived group?

Gents,
A final bar for this evening. Like the Saxon St. Henry bar and the Unknown Medal Bar (which caused Rick to faint), this was also recently sold on the well-known auction site. It went for between $475.00 and $485.00. Presented for your info/review.

Christophe-- I would not ever identify bars for unknown third parties, only to a member here. We don't know who sold it, who bought it, or where it is now. Or if any party involved cares beyond how much money they think they can get--or be handed for free at our expense.
Rick,
I understand and support your point fully. My intent was/is simply to present this (and other) interesting bars for review. I have absolutely no stake in this.

Gents,
After just posting the Saxon St. Henry bar, I also came across this unknown-to-me bar which I thought you'd be interested in seeing. Like the Saxon bar, it also recently sold on the well-known auction site. Sale price was $1,136.00.

Do you know where is it from please ?
Christophe,
It sold on eBay on July 20th, 2013. The seller is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You can still see it on eBay when you search under the "Completed Listings" category using the words "Saxon Medal."
