Gents,
A Category II Full Cavalier Set awarded to Senior Sergeant V. G. Nechushkin currently offered by the same dealer for $17,000.000. This one has an interesting back story - he was officially stripped of his decorations in 1949 (likely owing to a criminal conviction) only to have them reauthorized in 1975 after he was "rehabilitated." Note the official duplicate award Glory II.

Gents,
A very nice Category 1 Full Cavalier set currently offered by a well-known NYC-area dealer for $29,000.00 - http://collectrussia.com/DISPITEM.HTM?ITEM=23076 This set to Senior Sergeant Mikhail Vovk also includes his Ordenskaya Knizhka - something one doesn't encounter all too often.

Gents,
As I'm unaware of any public offerings of Full Cavalier sets over the past year, information on current pricing has been hard to come by.

Gents,
As follow-up, the P-39Q was sold to the Ira G. Ross Aerospace Museum (formerly the Niagara Aerospace Museum) in Buffalo, New York. It was in the Buffalo, New York area that this plane was built during World War II.

Gents,
Currently listed on the other well-known NYC-area dealer's site for his early January 2010 auction - sequentially numbered Orders of Glory Third Class to a father and son for action in Prague in 1968 - or so it's claimed. Image of documents/reverse sides of Glories may be viewed at his site.
"2153 Set of 2 complete documented groups for father and son Landfel’d.
Group comes with:
• Order of Glory #758345 (father).
• Order of Glory #758346 (son).
• 2 Order’s Books for the above.
Note that Order’s Books’ serial numbers are consecutive, mirroring the serial number situation with Orders of Glory. Both were awarded for action in Prague in 1968. Moreover, Orders of Glory have consecutive serial numbers, much like the Order’s Books themselves! Most likely unique as such.
Condition: Excellent condition dark patina $ 1.000,-"

One of the very nicest images I've ever come across depicting this level jump wing in wear.

Why's the other one cheaper? Sorry for my ignorance.
Bob,
I assume they're offered on consignment so it's likely a function of what the owners are looking to receive. It could be the owner of #1526 is hard over on getting $17,500.00 and not a penny less (even though it hasn't sold in over a year's time).
