Hi everyone. I was hoping to get some help on identifying this medal. My wife's Great Uncle brought it back from the Great War along with a few other trinkets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now where have I seen that buckle posted??? heh heh heh......It's all good! When the buckle looks as nice as this one....I don't mind seeing it again!
Great looking buckle! (Wish my example had a keeper as well!!)
Cheers!
Rob
Thanks Rob,
I can't even find a repro keeper....Guess I'm looking to hard!

Picked up my first Heer brocade buckle. The pronged keeper is missing but hopefully I can locate one.

Has any one ever seen one of these before? I would guess the ribbon is not original to this medal. Anyone know anything about it or its value? I received it as part of a trade and have very little knowledge in this field.
Thanks in advance.

What piping are the shoulderboards? Are they HBT as well, or are they the wool type?
The boards are a set of wool signals I had in my collection. The tunic came to me without boards.

And may it grow even larger...
Just added my first Luft HBT.

Wow - super nice tunic displays!
I'm waiting to find a bust small enough to fit my Luft NCO service dress - the original owner was downright tiny!
Scott
Thanks Scott,
My busts came from Webster's Displays. Here is his web link.

I thought I would share my growing Luft. uniform collection. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.
First up, my boys in Blue! (as you can see....they guard my TV)

Here is a set of NCO Heer tropical I like. I don't think the slip-on ciphers are original to the set and were added at a later date, but this is the way I got them.

Hi byf,
I put this one together out of stuff laying around hobby room......cocky young paratrooper officer on his way to Bastogne. The chine cup is a repro until I can locate a real one and the captured Luger is a prop also.
(this is the best I could throw together in a couple of hours. )

Very nice set up. Is your helmet a fixed bale? I have a set I need to display. Once I get it set up I'll post it.
