Hallo Rick, Black enamel is clearly visible in the picture used, but in the description in the book for item number: 3387. it states what I wrote above, strangely there is no mention of black enamel (was J?rg having a bad hair day??)
Kevin.
PS maybe Stefan piece has had all the enamel removed??
Well, let's see when I get it home. I won it today
Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Kevin!
I only have that book from 2003/2004 and without its picture.
If you have time...can you send me a scan of it, so I can see how similar it is?
Cheers, Stefan
Hallo Stefan , Page 453 of Orders And Ehrenzeichen by J?rg Nimmergut. Catalog of 2004 / 2005 shows a similar piece (3387).
DESCRIPTION ON PAGE 457 Freikorps:
DEUTSCHRITTER-KREUZ, 1919. I Class, Steckkreuz Br. vs/vg 180,-
Br = Bronze, vs/vg = silver or gold gilt. 180,- = Price 180 Euro.

I almost forgot...
Stamped on back is GODET BERLIN and number 938.
938 must be the silver?

Here are some better pictures.
I think I've seen it on some German uniform - could it be a Freikorps medal as Rick says?

Sorry to intercept the thread, but just for your information:
The bar below just sold for approx. $200.
I have no idea if this is the going rate or dirt cheap?
/Mike
I bought mine above for 125 EUR, so I guess 200 USD is a good price...not knowing the price of the Turkish medal itself.

Hello,
I have an Urkunde signed by the Korvettenkapit?n and kommander ("Chef") of the 6. Torpedobootsflotille.
Dated 5th of April 1939.
I found these "Flottillenchefs" names:
April 1939 Kvtkpt. Waue
M?rz 1940 Kvtkpt. Marks
Mai 1940 Kptlt. Hartenstein
...but I can't match Waue to the signature.
Anyone got a decent reference book for this?
Regards, Stefan
