Purple Heart, Jenkins, 9th Inf, 2nd ID, Korea

Purple Heart awarded posthumous to S/SGT C. J. Davison, 409th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. Davison was KIA on 16th January, 1945 during a mission to Lauta, Germany. His B-24 was hit by accurate Flak and crashed near Wittichenau, Germany.

Here is a nice modern, first issue, black beret. It was given to me by a friend from our former partner unit, 6-52nd ADA.
