    1. ..and the slight trace of another stamp (or run through from other stamp).
    2. Here is the NSKK armband inside out, with one of the NSKK Transportkontrole stamps visible.
    3. Hello all, I have for show this NSKK Transportkontrolle armband and what I think is a neck-piece with gold thread braided into the rope like piece. It is white with a different material black stripe in the middle. The rope is black, white, and gold. If anyone knows the proper name for it, please let me know. I purchased this as a set so I assume that the braided rope was to be worn around the neck, while the traffic cop with this armband directed the trucks to the front. If anyone else knows lots about the NSKK, I would like to hear the specifics of this armband. It is very smooth to feel and soft, and does not glow under blacklight (nor the white fabrics in the rope). I have pics of the stamps as well coming up. Any NSKK buffs out there? Thanks, Pat
    4. and lastly, what would a posting on edged weapons be without a picture of an edge...
    5. Here is the metal sheath and leather belt holder. As I said, this is my only bayo and any info on this type of sheath set up is welcome. Pat
    6. ..and the extreme close-up of the maker mark. Does anybody recognize this maker?
    7. Hello there, This is my only bayonet I have so far (missed out on a nice ww1 British Navy one by a day!), a German Army Dress Bayonet from I think WW2. It is from the German army but I'm not sure exactly what time frame, as there are no "Nazi" markings on it. It looks like the maker is O & C or O & S with a figure in battle stance as the logo. I would really like to know any information that anyone has on this bayo, when it was made and its maker. Please post your examples if you have a match. Thanks, Pat
    8. Hi, Do you have a digital picture of it? If not, just use a scanner if you have one for a high detail scan. I'm not sure exactly what the flag is, but I'm sure somebody here does. Pat
    9. One more question, if anyone would be so kind as to help me out on this one. Is this cap eagle and cockade the standard Officer's cap eagle for most of the Wehrmacht? I would like to know the approx. time frame that it would be from and what specific (or semi-specific) branch of the army it is from. Also, any opinions on originality of the items is very welcome! Thanks gents, Pat
    10. Hi again, Does anybody have any opinions on the originality of the (Labour Day) Tag der Arbeit 33-39 tinnies I posted? I think the first four have been covered pretty well (unless anybody else has anything to add) but I would like to hear some feedback on the last bunch, as they look like good, standard, original tinnies. Any opinions and advice is really appreciated. Thanks gents, Pat
    11. and the back with markings of "Sterling", "G.I." and "Krew" on the three pieces. It is made of silver, obviously. Any other information on this particular combination and age of it? Pat
    12. Thanks for the great info, I've always liked this piece. I have a similar one, I think it has the US Marksman and Sharpshooting crosses, as well as a "Rifle" Bar between them. ANy ideas on the date of this award, and any info on why this particular one has two crosses? Thanks, Pat
    13. and finally, the reverse of the Labour Day 1933 tinnie, with no mm. All opinions and advice on the first batch of four (consensus=bad) and now my second batch of Labour Day tinnies (I think they are all good, and if someone could please let me know if I'm right, that would be excellent) is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for helping me sort out my originals from fakes, it has taught me a lot about what to look for in originals (especially the pin/catch set-up). Pat
    14. Here is the last tinnie for opinions today,my Tag der Arbeit 1933 tinnie. This one is in excellent shape and made with the same material as Canadian cap badges. It is stamped with no mm. Pat
    15. the reverse of the Labour Day 1934 tinnie, with maker AD? Baumfister, Ludenscheid. Any ideas on this one, It looks good to me but any confimation is welcome. Thanks, Pat
    16. Here is my favourit Tag der Arbeit tinnie, the 1934 version. The hammer and sicle are an interesting choice,as well as the large headed gentleman. This is an earlier piece, stamped and made out of better material. Pat
    17. Next up we have a Tag der Arbeit 1937 tinnie, also in zink I think. Any opinions on originaliy? With the way some of my TR stuff has turned out even finding out that these tinnies are good originals will make my day. I am confident they are good, as they are entirely different than the first four tinnies I posted this topic. Pat
    18. the back of the Labour day 1938 zinc tinnie. It is made by Hermann Bauer, Schwab Gmund. A good one I would say. Pat
    19. Next up is my Tag der Arbeit 1938 tinnie. All of my Labour day tinnies I've shown here were bought at the same place, and I think they are good. Any opinions? Pat
    20. and the reverse of the Labour Day 1939 tinnie, mm Ziemer & Sohne. Original I believe. Pat
    21. Next up from this batch is my Tag der Arbeit 1939 tinnie. Also a zinker I deduct from the white crud that is on it.
