and the backs of the shoulder boards, with attachment devices for the mini insignias shown. Look authentic?
Thanks,

Hello all,
I would like to post a couple items (and more as they come) for discussion on this thread. First up I have a pair of loaded shoulder boards (one paratrooper, one tank) and was wondering if they "add up" or if the extra insiginas were just added afterwards to make it look more impressive. If this is an authentic combination of items, what are the little insignias? I think these are Polish, not quite sure, but definitely Eastern Bloc.
Thanks,
Pat

Next up is another set of DDR shoulder boards, these ones for regular army I believe (again, please correct me if I am mistaken, as I am going off what the seller told me, got them dirt cheap!). If anyone can properly ID these and give some background it would be very appreciated.

Here is a set? of shoulder boards that I believe are East German, but I am not entirely sure. I believe these are field police shoulder boards in varying ranks. They are a thick material and made very well.
Thanks for looking,
Pat

Here is another set of collar tabs and chevrons, I believe they're DDR, or maybe repro TR items. THis is not my area of focus so any info on rank etc. is great.
Thanks,
Pat

Here are some East German shoulder boards, one pair I believe is Panzer (pink) and the other Feldpolizei (green), but please correct me if I am wrong.

Nice flags gentlemen. I was wondering if any of them were ww2 issue or earlier? The naval flags are especially nice and the finials are quite nice as well.

Hello gents,
I have this Russian cap badge and I was told it was ww1 issue, I was wondering if anyone could show the differences between ww1 and ww2 Soviet cap insignias, and let me know if mine is indeed a ww1 issue.
Thanks again,
Pat

Here are a few more various Soviet pins and badges, I think most aren't very valuable, but the paratrooper badge with the "10" clasp on one side and "25" on the other may be of some interest. Any help on these items is very welcome.

Thanks for the responses, I too have seen pics of the Prussian medal with the different clasps, nice pieces indeed! I just got my Ehrenlegion medal in the mail (thanks Tom Y) to match my ribbon bar that was missing the medal
. My only question is now how was this mounted? I attached the medal via a small ring onto the holder in the ribbon bar device and it doesn't seem right. The sword on the ribbon is upside down, and when you fold the ribbon over to get it right, it covers the pin on the back. Any help on this is welcome. Here are some pics to show you what I mean.

and the reverses of the badges, with no maker marks as far as I can see. Feel free to comment on any items as I really don't know much about them.
