Hi folks, I just thought I would post a few of my other tinnies for opinions on originality, makers, rarity etc. I have quite a few for discussion so I will continue to update this topic as I get them scanned in. Please leave your advice on these as I really value the info. All info is good, even some basic stuff I might not know as I am fairly new to this. First up on the tinnie list, a Tag der Wehermacht 1939 Pirmasens pin. Any thoughts on it? Thanks, Pat

Another stickpin for discussion, I really am not sure about where this one fits in. It is the German eagle with no crowns or swaztikas. It is in pristine shape which leaves me to believe it is a modern copy, but it might be a DDR stickpin as well, or a Imperial copy. Can anybody shed some light for me? Cheers, Pat

Hi guys, Thanks for the advice, bur I would like to see another 1940 model pin before I give up on this one. It is die-struck (definitely not a casting) and seems to be period material. I think it would be possible for a few die characteristics to change over a couple years and maybe different makers with different dies. I guess we'll have to see if anyone else has one. Pat

Here is another badge along the same lines of veterans awards, a W.V.R Dresden 1922 badge with an edelweiss flower in the center. Does anybody know what W.V.R. stands for? Is it related to the Stahlhelm or Friekorps? I am assuming it is a veteran's group from Dresden, but any further information on this subject would be great. Thanks again, Pat

Here is my Prussian service medal (Preussischer Landes Kriegerverband) which has seen better days. I think these originally had a "25" attachment to them, but maybe they weren't on them all. I believe this is a long-service medal for the Prussian Army at the turn of the century. If anybody knows when this medal was made and any more information on it I would be grateful. Thanks, at

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I have a few more Imperial items to post for discussion, so I will use this topic for my current and future Imperial medals as they come in, so keep checking for new stuff! First up, a Kyffhauserbund 1914-1918 medal. I am missing the ribbon so if anyone would like to post the correct ribbon (and proper name of this medal) that would be great. I think this is an official award, and any info is helpful.
