I have been researching 6 Wehmacht soldiers from WWII for the last 6 months. I have found the Bundesarchiv extremely helpful. WASt like the otherposter stated usually deals with families, but with the last name and a writtenauthorization from the family I have found them extremely helpful. Wish I couldhelp more. The Bundesarchiv should have a list of the unit and its officers itmay then only a slight possibility through the process of elimination you couldget several names and move on from there.
