No idea Robert.....interesting stickpin. One more 3rd Reich organization! Thanks for showing. Wonder if Don would know? He probably has a picture of someone wearing it!

Thanks --dj--Joe.....maybe the shorthand on the tinnie is the date and place....or maybe not! I do see 1935......

And I did the same --dj--Joe! It is good that the threads are kept for us to go back over and see. I just may post a few stickpins later that aren't on the thread. What special things are on your wish list? Mike

Nice Robert......we all must wait for a goodie now and then. Mike

I must agree with you Don. It looks painted and the children (little eagles) look adopted. Is RS for Souval or re-strike or Return to Sender?

Thanks Robert.......I would like to know about a yellow one or even about one with oak leaves. Mike

Thanks for the reply Jock. I am out of town at the moment but when I get home I will scan a few pages of the document. I have several of them and they list the names and ages of the children. Mike

Anybody have anything to add to this topic in the last three years? I still haven't seen a yellow one or the 3-D red one or another one with oak leaves. Mike

Thanks Zorn,
For the Manions links, comparing the two back sides they don't look too dissimilar, the damaged one, may have a more than even chance of being original - pity there's so much enamel missing. A swipe at Manions, considering they are asking $358 for the piece, they show a blurred picture of the back, can't be bothered to put a sharp one up. People must wonder, if they are serious company to be dealing with?
Regards
AlecH......just for your information I got that Charite badge and the reverse was intentionally blured to disguise the fact that it had a replaced pin. I took it anyway because I also have the earlier one like Scowen.....but never really happy with Manion's business practices. They sold items stolen from my collection and did not return them to me but returned them to seller before police contacted them. Mike

Hi Chris, I have been collecting Frauenschaft/Frauenwerk badges for years and have a decent collection. I have never seen a Frauenschaft stickpin, but that obviously does not guarantee that they don't exist. If you ever need someone to talk to about Frauenschaft pins, do not hesitate to contact me since there are a LOT of fakes out there. I am not an expert, but I do have an opinion or two. Good collecting!!

I agree with Don.....something different and perhaps unknown.

I've got to start paying closer attention. I've been missing some top notch posts. Mijke, nice assemblage. Would the cloth piece be for the sports shirt? Don, could the large pin in question on Odulf's image be religious? I think I see a cross on the pocket of the upper picture. I also thought singing or music related. (?) Odulf, nice pictures, thanks for showing them. Nice additions Don. I'd not seen the Hillenbrand & Bröer any time before. Interesting their set up of the HB. --dj--Joe
I would assume that the patch would be for the sports shirt.......knowing Don, I would think that he has a picture of it being worn in his sock drawer!! Mike
