Picked this up in an antique store with a bunch of US Army pins. Any ideas I what it might be for and how old? Makers mark is:

Populak E&M Co. 103 Fulton St. NYC

Is it just a political pin or some military connection? Doesn't seem like it would be made in NY if military.

Any ideas?

I am a collector of WWII/KW insignia. I recently discovered this patch. I have seen the Turkish Brigade patches before but not one with the additional four stars. Can someone tell me if this one is Korean War era or a different time period.
