Hello
I´m going to sell my Madsen machine-gun, but I’m not sure of the eksakt model. It is a Portuguese contract in 7,92x57 / 8mm Mauser. I know they got guns in this caliber in 1936, 1940 and in 1947, but I don’t know howe to identify the different models. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello !
A friend of mine got this interesting object hanging on a wall in his cabin. He again inherited it from hes father, who built the cabin.
It must be a machine telegraph, but not like any we have seen seen on ships.
In May 1916, the Zeppelin LZ 59 (tactical number L20) crashed after a bombing raid on Britain, in Hafrsfjord, close to Sola airport outside Stavanger. This is 20 min drive from were we live.
Could this be the telegraph from this Zeppelin ? Any help to identify this will be appreciated.

My guess would be that this is a commorative/ patriotic piece.
Hard to to place an age to it.
I was also thinking commorative/ patriotic. Maybe more patriotic than commemorative, 1870?s ?
It would be nice to know for sure, but still I i?m quit happy whit it!

If original, the ribbon cross is extremely rare. When the EK was instituted there was a misreading of the criteria and the B?nderkreuz was issued as the EKI. The silver cross is a copy of the Landwehr cap badge.
Possibly, although I doubt it, private purchase for an officer. More likely a commemorative piece. Regardless, very nice
Glad you liked it, and thanks for showing the Landwehr cap badge!

Any comments on this one would be appreciated !
When I got it, there were some very small pieces of treat attached to the loops. They were so fragile they turned into dust, there was also a spiders nest inside it. The engravings seems to have been filled whit red paint, there are still some traces of it.

Sorry, this is a bit embarrassing, I can?t trust my eyes anymore. I clearly need reading glasses ! It?s neither a kag nor a ko, It?s 800 stamp (a very small one !! )

ksg, what is the mark I can see on the lower arm, is it a maker mark?
Yes, it's the maker mark, kag.

That's a first for me too! Very unusual why someone would, if you'll pardon the expression, downgrade from a first class. They have done a very nice job of removing all traces of the hinge and clasp. Is it marked 800?
Another Imperial that leaves more questions to be answered. A very uncommon & nice pick up ksg. Thanks for posting it.
Hello Kriztofer
No 800 marking. I agree on the nice job done on it, no field convertion . Why..... your guess is as good as mine. But remember, they were not collectors!

Thank you for translations and suggestions. I guess this flagg will still be a mystery.
Sorry for late reply to you. I recently got some health issues.
Best regards
