Chris you refer to the DSJB 1955 for a list of the abbreviations. I presume you meant the Deutscher Soldatenjahrbuch. I cannot find that article in my 1955 book !The DSJB existed as Deutscher Soldatenkalender from 1953 until 1962 and from 1963 it became the Deutsches Soldatenjahrbuch. I am very interested in the article.Please assist.

I bought the dagger from Wittmann after I had the trophy for about 20 years which I aquired in Germany .I was really surprised to find the dagger at the time. Interestingly "Snyder" also had a goblet with Chorus's name on which I missed .I saw the photos and it looked good.

The sword of course would be of great interest to me.

This is a Colonial IOD as used in the China Campaign .Note the incredible deatil of the Imperial Eagle on the fixed basket gaurd .Note the eagle is looking the other way over its right shoulder . The cypher on the sharkskinn grip is also the Imperial Cypher.

Here a photo of the IOD 89 "colonial" sword with Imperial Eagle on the folding Clamshell Guard instead of the Prussian eagle .Also note 1913 style Imperial Cypher on Sharkskin Grip. The Imperial style was first instituted in 1891.

This of course could be a cap badge .I have searched high and low to find any reference or photos of it .I thought a good guess would be the 2nd Gebigdivision.Herewith photo of back .Only the solder remains where the pin was fitted and there is no maker mark visible.It is a struck badge ,excellent quality ,non magnetic.

I found this badge recently, about 3cm high ,silver metal not aluminium .Seems to be very well made and real , possibly a collar badge of the 2nd Gebirgs Division ? Opinions anybody ?
