I was recently serving along side French forces and admired their unit insignia. A trip to Paris seeing the large variety really hooked me on French unit insignia. The US Army has similar insignia, but the heraldry of the French badges is a bit more refined.

So yes, there are other French DI collectors out here. I am very new to it though.

Does anyone know of any books on French regimental badges? The websites help but not knowing French it is tough to figure out the organization of the pages.
