Yes these volunteers have a colourful history. Many are not aware of the difficulties the volunteers faced in the war- and after.
I need a jacket with the volunteer Collartabs, but they are difficult to find. If i keep looking for some years more maybe i am lucky.

Do you ask this question to everyone who show photos of their militaria, or just to a member that has decided be active on this forum? Just because i have not been active on this forum, does not mean i have a sewing machine in the closet.

The shield has a shadow under, the tread have been on the jacket forever. Just like the eagle and the collartabs has been there so long it has become one with the cloth under.

Here i have a Dutch tunic reissued for use by a Georgian Volunteer. It has the hard to get Pink shoulderboards. Hope you like it.

Here is a Dutch tunic, reissued for the Cossacks. This tunic has been used by a Member of the Terek tribe. Hope you like it.

I have this Lithuenian Schuma in my modest collection. It is a very interesting piece.
It came with clear traces of once had a ostfront ribbon, so I have very gently placed a ostfront ribbon in the exact position as the original ribbon once where attached. I have only used a couple of original threads of the same colour to softly keep it in place.

Here is another Schuma. A dear collector friend of mine traded me this one. And i am very happy to include it into my humble collection.
