Doing research on Major John Francis Purcell (Cape Mounted Rifles) I discovered that you have been contacted by his grandson. I have in my possession family letters, photographs, and other personal ephemera which I feel should go back to the family. Unfortunately I only discovered your web site today and have already put these items on Ebay. I hope there is a way that he can view these items.
