    1. These look good to me. If the clutch posts are short, where the clutches almost touch the back of the wing that is a good indication of earlier wings. Also the solder looks like a puddle around the base of the posts also another good indicator of earlier construction.

      I have made my very first British WW1 Victory medal acquisition. What I didn't know is that they are all numbered and named. I haven't a clue where to start looking for information, so I am kindly asking for your assistance. It is numbered named and has C.F.C after the name. Any insight is immensely appreciated.

    3. My last few posts of items that I have found weren't very interesting. This grouping is all gear. But I will be speaking with the son this week. I will definately need assistance with the ensuing research. I want to put together a shadow box of medals and ribbons and give it to the son. If there is any interest in seeing the seabag let me know i will add pics of the tactical unit markings. I hope to learn and share from this with the forum.

      I guess I should try to obtain his serial number and DOB, would anything else be helpful for researching?
