Card close up.

I thought that I would bring this thread back and add a few pieces from my collection. First is a small 1929 display which includes a cased plaque, post card and both silver and bronze badges.

Thanks for your reply hesse fee, it's pretty rare to find a GPB attributed to an SS member let alone a high level one such as Sollmann. Best, Erich

I wanted to share this 24mm Deschler GPB from my collection that's attributed to SS Standartenfuhrer Max Sollmann who was the head of Lebensborn and on Himmlers personal staff. He was also awarded the Blood Order, Honor ring and SS Degan.

I wanted to add my new Allach vase that I just picked up to this thread. Notice the gold lip.

All forms of this badge are very rare. The 1st type with the narrow pin is the most rare.

Lastly, here's a 29 RPT display that I put together.

Andechs, I don't think your cased 29 RPT plaque is original. The lettering on the obverse is wrong as well as the details of the eagle are off. On the reverse the MM is in the wrong font. Reproductions of these cased awards are being sold in the UK. These awards cased are very rare. Here's a Vet acquired one from my collection to compare.

I have since sold the BO and the new owner wished to have the photos removed. Sorry guys!

Stan, I was talking with SW and told me that a lot of his pieces were photographed in Europe for this book. It could be possibly for CG's book?

Stephen, That would go very nice with my badge!

Stan, I was talking about another well known West Coast dealer.

I finally think that Gau badges may be coming into their own. I have heard that a major collector/dealer has written a book that will be coming out soon with lots of photos of some very rare pieces.

The names are known but not the numbers to match up with them at this time.

Wessel, Is your plate a Pohl Julteller? My two Jultellers are like Mr. West's which were for presention by Himmler and in white. The colored versions were thought to have been possibly produced by another concern other than Allach. These colored plates were sold to the public.

Wessel, Craig Gottlieb has one on his site at a pretty reasonable price.

Wessel, I also have the 42 & 43 Jultellers as well. Best, Erich

Hi Wessel, the only Political piece I have is the 1938 RPT vase that I posted earlier in this thread. I really like your Deer!

Here's my newest piece Allach young sitting rabbit model 61. What's unusual about this one is the gray shading mostly you see it shaded in brown.

Looks like an original to me.

Thanks Jon and Morten, it really makes history live when you are able to get a badge to a high ranking official. Best, Erich
