Real y Militar Orden de San Hermenegildo Instituted: 28 November 1814 and continued with minor revisions to the present day. Awarded: To all ranks of the armed forces and civil guard for faithful service. Grades: Now 4 (Grand Cross, Star, Commander and Knight), the Commander grade being added since the order's inception. Apart from changes to the crown, the insignia has changed little if at all since 1814. Here is some of the current insignia, according to the latest revision of the statutes in 2000. Order of Agricultural Merit A 3 Class order - Commander, Officer & Knight. Here is the Knight, Obverse:

Order of Friendship Instituted sometime in the 1960s, and discontinued in 1971 being replaced by the National Order of Merit. It was awarded in one class. Obverse: The reverse is plain. Pity it did not survive - beautiful symbolism!

Reverse: Emmanuel says he's also seen this medal with a green & blue ribbon, possibly a later variant after Lesotho changed its flag in 1987.

The ribbon shown above is the original 1972 one. It's possible that it was changed in 1987, but to what?
