The reason we lot need to keep track of them - and private-purchase commemoratives - is that they look like medals, so need to be documented so that future observers know what they are.

I do have pictures of the People's Republic version, and when they go onto the website I'll put them in the appropriate place hereon. Medal on a pale blue ribbon, if memory serves...
There is some evidence, circumstantial to be sure, that the current regime awards something, with a collar/chain similar to the lesser chain... I think Lukasz has a picture if only the dear soul will let me use it! But just what it is awarded for, and if it has a sash & star to go with the collar I do not know. Yet.

Collar:
Edit: Lukasz tells me that this is the Greater Collar, worn only by the King of Bulgaria. There is another 'Lesser Collar' which was worn by everyone else.

I only collect information not 'things'... so no. Collectors are kind enough to give me pictures for the website, though.

Yes, I do recall your asking... and there are a couple of my images on your site. Must put a link to it from my General Links list (perhaps country specific ones once you have a bit more substance to the different sections).

You are welcome to use anything that I post here, or which is on my Medals of the World website. A link to my website will suffice as acknowledgement of source.

Well, I expect that the commanding officer of HMS Cornwall will also have some difficult questions to answer before he starts looking for a new career.
But however poorly trained, even those shameful muppets will have heard of 'Name, Rank, Number, Date of Birth.'

The only place they should be telling their stories is in front of a Court Martial!
But hopefully they will be given dishonourable discharges soon, and so at least if they have sold their stories they will have something to live on.
