This the smallest piece in my medal collection and I think its superb,a first pattern EK2 spange buttonhole.This piece has been in two books as well "The Iron Time, a history of the iron cross" by Stephen Thomas Previtera on page 214 and also in the Book "The Iron Cross of 1939" By Gordon Williamson on Page 104.I hope you enjoy it as well,thanks to Jamie Cross for this very welcome addition to my collection. This is my first post here and I thought I would start with latest addition to my collection.A spange zum eisernes kreuz 2 klasse on both WW1 EK ribbon and KVK2 ribbon.I can't see a mm but it's a Hammer and sohne clasp. I found this on Grenadier military antiques,first class service and made it drom the US in 8 days,not bad.I hope you enjoy.
