Indeed it should look familiar : ) Good memory. Nice Danzig pieces!
Gary B
Memory is intact Gary. That was a great bar. I’ll post more from the past this week.

- Correct Dion. Am curious to know if your little (probably not so little now) boy is with you in Florida. What a cute little bugger he was. Its nice that you are here. A big welcome!
That cute little bugger beansprouted into a very tall , strange sense of humor, hard to describe individual LOL. He is residing in Germany at the moment but spends summers with me.
thank you for remembering and asking!
I am very proud of him.
He is almost up to my chin at 9.
We might have a future NBA player.
So many familiar names on this forum . Iam glad to be here!

And you changed your name to monster. Here is my 25 but diferent pin setup.
Was a typo from over a decade ago lol.
I see yours is marked Carl Poellath.
even the 25s are a tough find.
Robert? If I remember correctly?

Very nice! Is yours cased? They usually come with a small case.
Here are my 25 & 40 Years. Both are cased but unfortunately I haven't taken a picture of them in their cases yet.
Thanks for posting.
Don
Unfortunately not cased, long time no see Don. It’s münster from WAF.

Reverse of the fake. Note the very poorly defined points on the longest rays of the star. Again, compare with the well defined points on the original.
Hi All
Thankyou for the time and interest.
Cheers

Hi Gordon
Let me see if I can make some crisper shots of the wreath.
I agree with you on the font also on tthe Maker Mark. Not being the first style it is dismissed as a fake.
The back has definitely seen some wear and the swaz has a little damage to it.
Let me see if I can make some decent shots.

Gentlemen.
What, if any, was the final outcome of this tunic? Dion, any word from the family?
Henry
Mom wasnt called in the states anymore, Iam letting it rest I suspect real privacy issues.

This is getting confusing. The Oberarzt Twardy I have had contact with is the son. His Father is alive and kicking. They sold the tunic some months ago and Iam awaiting a scan of the tunic in wear.

Paul,
something to consider:
the label is dated December 1942 for an Oberarzt (Oberleutnant). It is inconcieveable that he could have risen to the rank of Oberfeldarzt (Oberstleutnant) in the next 30 months.
Regards
Glenn
Hi All
I think I found Dr Twardys telephone number. If it is him I will see what he hjas to say.
Thanks All

Hi D...
Subscriptions/donations are purely on a voluntary basis. If you wish to make a donation, and I emphasize; it's purely voluntary, you can send it via your control panel under the options heading.
As far as posting items for sale is concerned, Just send me the "LC" Commemorative banner and awards and you can post as much as you like...
Thats one of 2 of the best offers Ive had on that CL grouping
