Ralph: Do you collect these seriously? So few in the US seem to. Bob Lembke
Yes, I have a nice selection of Imperial document and medal groups, that have accumulated over the years. I favor those with interesting weapons training entries, and not so much for decorations. This one fell a little short of the mark; I was hoping for something a little more interesting... like a juicy entry for the badge (yeah I was thinking about Boonzaier)... but I kept it anyway. Nice pictures of the fellow, and I wanted the badge.
Looks like he spent the last month shooting at the AEF.I noticed that; this fellow worked his buzz-saw all over France ,and he didn't discriminate against nationalities....

Very nice Ralph. Does the Militaerpas have an entry for the machinegunners badge?
First thing I looked for...
No. Not that I can see, nor is there any mention of it in the included post-war papers, nor are any of the photographs dated, of the recipient wearing the badge.
Those facts in themselves... speak for themselves...

Prices have gone up everywhere.
Thanks for looking.

Due to a lack of swastika-ed items, I propose this board to be pre-1933. I have a NS-period edition of S&L's catalog; note how the stock numbers still coincide. Replacement of missing miniatures is now less problematic...

I was delighted to see that some are enameled.

This languished on Weitze's site for a time.

I'm busy at the moment, but I'll give you a peek at the Militaerpas's innards as soon as possible. Thanks for looking.

Never mind.
CBI patch. Looks theater-made, doesn't it?
