I am buying an Iron Cross second class and I would appreciate if any of you could corroborate the authenticity of the pieces I am considering. These are the following two:
Iron Cross marker 13. I particularly like this one because it is has considerable amount of its silvering left. However I am a bit concern regarding the 1813 on the back of the medal because it seems to be a bit inclined down. Additionally I am not sure about the swastika because the upper corner is not a bit separated from the frame as in other cases. http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_30_39&products_id=671
Iron Cross marker 100 I like this one because it looks better preserved than the previous one and because the Swastika is a bit separated from the frame as I have seen in other models. I am a bit concerned about the 1939 and 1813 since I have seen floch reproductions in which both dates were very low close to the frame. I am inclined to buy this one if somebody can confirme its authenticity. http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_30_39&products_id=672
I have very little experience in this regard and I would very much appreciate your opinion in this matter. Could anybody confirm if these two pieces are authentic?
