Hi all; I just picked up this knife from an estate where the owner was very keen on the Zulu wars. It was proudly displayed. however I know very little about weapons of Africa and would like some assistance in identifying it. Since it was on display in a room full of Zulu war artifacts, I assume that it might be from the turn of the century or older, and even possibly, Zulu. Thank you all in advance Gary

Hi all; I came upon this at an estate sale in Long Island, New York USA. I doubt that it's truly what it purports to be, yet there is a photo of a man claiming to be the son of a man who fought with it at Isandlwana. I am skeptical yet purchased the whole lot of signed art prints, shields and spears. They are a pretty neat collection. Please let me know if this spear could be the real thing. Thank you. Hi all; I came upon this at an estate sale in Long Island, New York USA. I doubt that it's truly what it purports to be, and the coat was made in 1903. Can anyone shed light as to its authenticity? I bought spears, shields and a fighting knife, supposedly Zulu, from the same era at the sale. Even if the items don't date to the era, I will enjoy them. Here is the tunic for your perusal.
