Jacques,
Because he earned the Cruz de Guerra, did that make him ineligible for the Red Military Service Cross? Could a person not earn both?
Just curious.
Scott
Hi,
Yes, as he was awarded the cruz de guerra he can't receive the red cross; At least for the German soldiers envolved in the Legion condor.

SC opinions
in Spain
Both look good but I don't know how one can be certain without reverse pics?Of course it is difficult to be affirmative observing only the obverse of a cross, but in that very case, the 2 crosses retain all the details of the announced marking. The patina is exactly what we can expect and for me there is no doubt. Of course, if I get them in hand, I would have a look on the reverse to see which kind of marking variant the Juncker have.

Thank you Jacques,
and sorry, but I have seen your posting about the "cut of swords" in this forum to late.
The weight of this SC is 26,4 Gramm, are these early awarded pieces?
Regards,
Monsun
Hi,
The cross marked CEJ are the first manufactured and awarded. This one is unmarked but is of very good quality and not marked L/12. So I guess they were manufactured around 1940, and in 1941 stamped L/12. May be your is 40-41. That is just a pure supposition, and add no value to the cross.

Hi,
I don't think it is an original one.
Bad color, odd pin and hook. One piece construction that do not match with the known variant one piece construction.
I advice you to send it back to the dealer and get your money back.

Hi,
good eyes Scott
Thus , it is not logical because the Cruz de guerra is higher to the red cross, and I own another picture of the same guy were he is not wearing the red cross but only the medalla de la campana.
I'm may be wrong, perhaps one of our spanish friend can give us an opinion or official text to help us going further.
I know that K?bler (PzGruppe Drohne ) was awarded 3 spanish medals and though he was alone in such a case.
Interesting topic
