Newly acquired is this super next of kin grouping from a former Panzergruppe Drohne Member.
Sch?fer died in Spain (Cubas) on january 22, 1937. He was accidently shot by a comrade.
He was awarded posthumously the:
- Spanish cross in bronze with swords
- medalla de la Campana
- Medalla de sufrimientos por la Patria
His family was awarded the next of kin cross.
this is the only pic of him when to the RAD

Hi,
The second medal is the "Medalla Militar", the third is the "Medalla de la campa?a".
Around 100 LC members were awarded this spanish high decoration. I would like to get a medals bar with this decoration.

Does anybody has a picture showing the "crus blanca" with a cross without swords ?
Up to now the period pics show that there is no relation between the attribution of the "Cruz blanca" and the spanish cross without swords. It could be interesting to see if there is a relation between the cross without sword and the "Cruz roja".

the document for "medalla de la campana" is lacking.
There is no LC Panzer badge, but may be he didn't stay in Spain enough long to entitle the badge.
