    1. hi Michaw

It seems that you had the idea than me... :P

the cross looks convincing, nevertheless I'm not confortable with it. I think it is a very well done dangerous copy.

It is mainly encountered with the CEJ 900 or 800 MM. The deail of the eagle head is typical.

Here are few samples of the same copies.

    2. Hi Stijn,

Thanks. For sure it is incredible to have survived so many combat days. This variant was only manufactured at +- 100 pieces. It is like a dream or a must for all Army badges collectors.

The name is known but I can't give it now.

      Hello,

Thank you for sharing these more detailed pictures. very nice piece and we can only say towards the newer and olde rcollector => look at this one untill you go :speechless: , this is the thing to look and learn from.

This is the real thing and it is scarce for sure !!!, just imagine one had to survive more or less 50 close combat days, that was something for sure

Is the former recipient known from this one?

      Cordial greetings

    3. I'd say he's Karl-Heinz Krahl who was Gruppenkommandeur I./JG2 'Richthofen' as shown in his cufftitle.

Jacques, could you please show a detail of the emblem besides the pilot badge? I will try to identify it

      Regards

      Fran

Francisco, thanks for the name. unfortunatly it is not a unit badge but an alteration of the picture.

here is a close up of the spanish pilot badge
