As it is a first price for a competition, it could be a one of a kind piece.

Beautiful! What is the size? Is the colorful center made up of those glazed tiles? It measures around 40x40cm with the frame. The fram looks period made.
the center design is constituted with 4 painted tiles. the motive is 3-D, and then has been cooked (don't know if it is the right word to explain).

Found this one being offered on Manion's...
Nice picture Scott, it is not common to see KM sailors with the silver cross, and dressed in overseas uniform.

Very Interesting as he was bearing a "Merito en Campa?a" breast medal in the left...Never I?ve see this medal on a german uniform...perhaps, because he is wearing a dress uniform.??
Hi,
If you have a look to all the pictures of that thread, you will see few others showing the breast star to "Merito en Campa?a" worn by German former members of the LC.
I guess that around 1000 german soldiers were awarded this high spanish decoration.

Another one, a LW major wearing what seems to be a silver or gold cross.

a newly acquired photo showing an NCO wearing the LC panzer badge. It seems that his shoulder have a nr. 5 for the Pz.Rgt.5. Many former members of the PzGruppe Drohne seems to have been appointed to that regiment when returning to Germany.
