Thank-you very much quite an interesting story, if only you still had some of them items. Would have been nice to see original badges and insignia brought back as there's a lot of later issues and copies now flooding the market.

I've recently joined this great forum and was trying to find out some information about a North Vietnamese badge I have acquired but notice you have the exact one in this thread. Its the first photo in this thread, large gold coloured badge with star. Can you tell me more about this badge as I have not seen one previously worn by the NVA. I have seen the two piece wreath and star within a circle type, are these earlier examples?
Thanks,
Mick

I'm new to the forum and I'm very impressed how many military subjects are covered in here. I've developed an interest in DPRK, Chinese and North Vietnam related items.
I recently picked up this cap badge described as an early North Vietnam Army badge. I've a lot of NVA badges but never seen this type before. Can anyone identify it for me and tell me more information if possible? I thought it could even be early Laos Army but not sure.
Thanks
Mick.

Good evening, I picked up this QC North Wales Police cap badge however I am unable to find any similar examples that have been in use. The current issue cap badge I similar however this has an enamel centre.
The badge I have has never had any enamel and is all chrome and the slider is maker stamped by Firmin.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank-you.
