Today I present you the bavarian dagger (Faschinenmesser) M1830 with a adapted blade (with saw!!!) for the WW1 trenches.
The bayonet frog and dagger sheath was from the 98/05.

Sorry,thanks for the correction! Yes, of course it is a Bayonet 98!The labels for the edged weapons vary greatly (especially in the postwar equipment), therefore I got one confused.0

Hello Gentlemen!
Today I present you the German Bayonet 98/02 with saddlebacks. It was usually part of the equipment of the non-commissioned officers (Unteroffiziere).
This particular bayonet was found in a sewer and professionally restored. The handles and sheath were complemented.
Here it is depicted in comparsion with the standard version which was later replaced by the 98/05 ("German butcher blade bayonet").

Starting in 1976, moss-green uniforms were introduced gradually until about 1980 in the BGS and the police.

The East German Police Tschako was made of bakelite. The insignia were completed with the GDR badge in the autumn of 1961.

In 1958 the uniforms of the border police were adapted to those of the NVA, but were still in khaki.
Cockades and badges were still black/red/gold (up to belt buckle) until autumn 1961.

The equipment of the civil defense/fire department of the 50s strongly resembles those of the WH.
Material (socks) from the WW2 was also directly taken over.

In the 1960s the uniforms were blue grey. As a cold protection for the winter, a "Filzlausuniform" was worn, too.

Hello Gentlemen!
The forestry uniforms have been adjusted ever since the 30s to the Luftwaffe.
Airblaster = Forestbluse just in the green version. This was the same after WW2 in the GDR, too.
The GDR parachutists had no heels on their boots either.
Much is based on tradition, too.

the West German civil defence continued to use dark yellow of the WH as a camouflage colour after WWII.

Today I'm going to show you the direct comparison of a Gubener GDR hunting hat and a WWII "Reichsforsthut" with emblems from shortly after the war.
The "Waldbluse" corresponds to the same pattern as the WWII model and was used in this until 1990.
The breeches were held in mouse grey, but also the stone grey of the NVA was used.
The shaft boots had no heels.

The BGS HBT-Drillichanzug (workuniform) was used in this version until 1977. Unfortunately, all badges are missing here!

During the seventies, green trousers were worn to the Sumpftarnsmock. The Genscherbogen was introduced only 1976 and afterwards also sewn on older uniforms.

The battle dress tunic from the "Filzlausuniform" could be buttoned into the trousers.At the beginning of the 1960s the Feldparker was introduced into the Bundeswehr.
The Moleskin suit of the Bundeswehr that's shown here was used as far back as the 1990s.The jacket is from 1964 (unfortuntely fadet) and the pants from 1966 (in the best condition).Bye Tobias
