Thank you for your reply! In any reference that I have seen, nothing has listed Fernando Poo as a unauthorized bar, but it does make sense. I have checked out that link on numerous occasions, but still have not seen a picture of an actual Fernando Poo bar.

Hello guys, Cheston Davis here. New to the club/forum.. I was surfing the net and saw this Southwest Afrika/ colonial German page and was fascinated. I have in my collection which to me was a mysterious item that I picked up over ten years ago. As per reading your discussions about a similar clasp to saxe-meiningen. I attaching a picture of it now. By what I gather from your conversations, it's a clasp for service in Afrika, but mine has no swords attached; so would this be for a non-combatant? Look forward to more information.
