    1. Hi Demir,

thank you for your comment on the collection.

Those two Turkish war medals are made by the same maker Sedlatzek, possibly for two different market or at different periods.

I will try to get better pictures later on.

Saygilar and good hunting for new medals.

      Kimaho

    2. On the back of of the srewback Star one can easily see the pressed out reverse image of the Tugra. It is not a makers mark.

      Regards to all.

(Demir has got lovely Stars, tebrikler)

    3. Hi Josef,

as far as I know this is one of many different bronze/copper unofficial Turkish medals which were struck to commemorate/celebrate the II Turkish constitution.(I guess It reads some thing like Kanuni esasi yadigari)

I am happy to be corrected if I am wrong, this is my personal opinion.

      Regards

    4. Dear josef,

Hope you don't mind my comment on this.

I believe the tughra mark above the Ottoman mint mark is an assay mark of the gold content used for the sabers which might explain seeing this mark on the orders with sabers, and it also helps identifying the period of the object. But at the same time it is worth mentioning that not all Turkish orders with sabers do have this mark.
